Terms of Service
Last updated: March 26, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Showboard, a macOS desktop application ("the App") developed and distributed by Showboard ("we," "us," "our"). By downloading, installing, or using Showboard, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Showboard on any macOS computer you own or control. This license is for personal, non-commercial use. You may not redistribute, reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
3. Purchase and Payment
Showboard is a one-time purchase of $39.99 USD, processed through Paddle.com (our merchant of record). Paddle handles all payment processing, sales tax, and invoicing. By purchasing, you also agree to Paddle's Terms of Use.
4. Free Trial
Showboard offers a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start the trial. After the trial period, a license purchase is required to continue using the App. All features are available during the trial.
5. Third-Party Services
Showboard integrates with third-party music services including nugs.net, TIDAL, Qobuz, Archive.org, and Phish.in. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and requires your own accounts and subscriptions where applicable. We are not responsible for the availability, content, or policies of third-party services.
6. Intellectual Property
Showboard and all related trademarks, logos, and content are the property of Quick Outcomes LLC. The App is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Third-party service names and logos belong to their respective owners.
7. Updates
The App checks for updates automatically via the Sparkle framework. Updates are free and included with your license. We may update the App at our discretion but are not obligated to provide specific features or support indefinitely.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
Showboard is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all hardware configurations. Bit-perfect playback depends on your audio hardware and macOS version.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Showboard shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App.
10. Termination
We may terminate your license if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must uninstall the App and destroy all copies. Sections regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability survive termination.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
